What anchors THE BOYZ is the cool, clear feel of a large group and group choreography with a story in it. IST Entertainment debuted twelve members on December 6, 2017 with Boy, putting the individual visuals to the front. After an early departure they became eleven, and since Ju Haknyeon left in June 2025 they have worked as ten. The fandom is called THE B.
The turning point was Reveal and the survival show Road to Kingdom in 2020, where group choreography with a story in it moved their standing as performers upward. Because so many members appear at once, checking the formations in the dance practices rather than the music videos gets you further. The Stealer and Maverick widened the force of the concepts and the choreography.
Watch It and other songs from 2023 added a more grown-up presentation, and the routes through world tours and overseas shows grew. The range runs from the early cool feel to hard concepts, so following the performance videos in order alongside shows the change.
