- Collection
- Requests run sequentially with at least 100 ms between logical requests, a 15-second timeout, and up to three retries.
- Identification
- KPOP-DISCOVER-SignalBot/0.1 identifies the site and contact address in the User-Agent.
- Missing data
- Omitted days and whole-range 404 responses are recorded as zero_or_not_loaded. Network, 429, and 5xx exhaustion are api_error.
- Redirects
- Redirects with an unknown effective date are included only on and after their registration date. They are never backfilled into earlier totals; earlier days are marked redirect_unproven.
- Detection
- A confirmed month must be at least 10,000 PV and 2.0× the median of the previous 12 calendar months, with at least six observed baseline months.
- Editorial review
- A detected rise is a candidate only. Event interpretation and publication require human review and cited evidence.
