Yonghoon, Kanghyun, Harin, Dongmyeong and Giuk had played together before, under a different name, which is audible in how settled the playing is.

Come here for a band sitting right next to Korean pop without being part of it.

KPOP DISCOVER's ONEWE note

What anchors ONEWE is lyrical rock and the colour of songs the members write. The RBW K-band is made up of Yonghoon, Kanghyun, Harin, Dongmyeong and Giuk, and reading them as a band route adjacent to K-pop rather than an idol group makes them easier to sort out.

The way in is Regulus, Parting and Rain To Be. Lyrical rock built on motifs of stars, space and rain runs through much of the work, and even at first sight the members' writing and the rise and fall of the playing come across.

Following Beautiful Ashes and OFF ROAD from 2024, MAZE in 2025 and Ferris wheel in 2026 shows the full line-up back after military service and the newest updates. Regulus, then Parting, then Rain To Be covers the lyricism, the feeling and the rise and fall of the playing.

Editors' take Regulus / Parting / Rain To Be — three songs cover lyrical rock and the members' writing, from an RBW K-band.

Japan activity score

KPOP DISCOVER original metric
No. 207/ 210 groups

No. 207 of 210 groups with recorded activity in Japan (top 99%)

  • 0Japanese releases
  • 0Japan-related tracks
  • 0Members from Japan
  • 1Official Japanese accounts

The denominator is the 210 groups, out of 525 covered by KPOP DISCOVER, whose raw score reaches at least one point. The score adds 10 points per Japanese-market release, 3 per Japan-related track, 12 per member from Japan, and 8 per official Japanese account. Japanese-market releases carry the most weight because they are the most direct evidence of activity; related tracks add track-level detail; members from Japan stand for Japanese-language communication and continuity; official accounts stand for a permanent point of contact. The weights are an editorial judgement, not a statistical optimisation, and the ranking tracks release volume in Japan closely.
