The axis of Xdinary Heroes is rock with a twist and characters that stand out, together with the playing strength of a JYP band. JYP Entertainment / Studio J debuted the six-piece on December 6, 2021 with Happy Death Day, and Gunil, Jungsu, Gaon, O.de, Jun Han and Jooyeon split drums, keyboard, guitar, bass and vocals between them.
Happy Death Day, Test Me and Freakin' Bad are the way in. Strawberry Cake and Hair Cut hold a bright hook and a darker rock at the same time, while Deadlock and Livelock give a harder band sound, so the face of the group shifts from release to release.
Little Things and Night Before the End added more songs worth following through music videos and live clips alike, and going as far as Dead And in 2026 sorts the newest K-band route into order. Taken as Happy Death Day, then Test Me, then Freakin' Bad, the early momentum and the range both come through.
