F.CUZ debuted on January 8, 2010 as the four of Jinon, LeeU, Kan and Yejun. The debut song Jiggy is a bright dance track that cut their name into the mid-tier boy groups of the later second generation. No One and Gorgeous followed the same year, stacking up the performing of the original four in a short stretch. When LeeU, the main vocal, left in 2011 the outline of the group changed a great deal, and in 2012 it was rebuilt as five with Daegeon and Raehyun added. That change of line-up, under Can&J's Entertainment and Tunes-Will Entertainment, is exactly why F.CUZ cannot be described by a single debut song.
Choosing No One as the entrance gives the clearest view. After the sharp early dance song pulls you in, the return song No.1 with five members shows the moment the group changed, and Midnight Sun from 2012 lands on the grown-up expression after the rebuild. Line those three up and it becomes clear how differently F.CUZ reads either side of the change. Carrying on to Dreaming i also covers the sound once the five-member line-up had settled in 2012. A catalogue mixing brightness with maturity is built so that starting from the early dance pop still opens another entrance partway through.
From 2013 the routes through Japanese releases and events grew stronger, and a Japanese catalogue carrying LUV HOLIC showed a face apart from the Korean side. Cha-Ga-Wa, on Bargaining for Love in 2014, left the matured finish of the later period and the sense of a run heading into its second half. In 2023 news of the members and talk of a reunion reached beyond the old fans, and F.CUZ was confirmed again as a way back into the mid-tier boy groups of the later second generation. Jiggy, then Midnight Sun, then Cha-Ga-Wa covers the brightness of the debut, the maturity after the rebuild and the finish of the later period.
