wave to earth is a three-piece band from Seoul: Kim Daniel on vocals and guitar, Shin Donggyu on drums, Cha Soonjong on bass. Signed to Wavy, the band started in 2019 and drew its outline from quiet guitar and English lyrics on wave 0.01, released in January 2020. The fandom is called plankton.
The usual entry is seasons alongside bad and love. from the 2023 album 0.1 flaws and all. Live recordings suit seasons especially well; the depth of its empty space only lands once you hear it played that way. bad and love. trade feeling through mellow grooves and the gaps between short lines.
