Superband brought them to attention, and the catalogue moves between running tempos, quieter writing and songs that open up live.
Come here for playing rather than choreography, with a sound no other Korean band is making.

What anchors LUCY is the playing and the storytelling. Known first through JTBC Superband, the Korean band debuted officially from MYSTIC STORY in 2020 with Dear., and a line-up that includes a violin sets it apart. It is treated as a K-band rather than an idol group, which is a different way of reading it.
The way in is Flowering, Jogging, Snooze, I Got U and PLAY. Lining up a bright running song, a more lyrical one and one that grows in a live room shows that LUCY has storytelling and playing as well as a cool, clear surface.
The catalogue runs from Dear. in 2020 through Childhood, Fever, Boogie Man, The knight who can't die and the silk cradle to Wakey Wakey and the project songs of 2025. For a K-band the footage of playing and singing matters more than choreography, so the performance videos and live clips are the stronger route. Flowering, then Snooze, then Boogie Man covers the clear surface, the lyricism and the live feel.
Editors' take Flowering / Snooze / Boogie Man — three songs cover the playing and the storytelling of a MYSTIC STORY K-band.
