From debut to now
- 2012Appearing from Alpha Entertainment as a girl group linking Korea and Singapore, they built an early picture with Oh! Dance and SKarfing.

KPOP DISCOVER's SKarf note
SKarf set out on August 16, 2012 from Alpha Entertainment Korea as a multinational girl group straddling Korea and Singapore. They debuted as a four-piece of Tasha, Ferlyn, Sol and Jenny, and after Sol left, JooA and Hana came in. As an early case of a Korean group formally taking in members from Singapore, they serve as a guide line for reading today's multinational K-pop.
Starting from Oh! Dance keeps things simple. The 2012 debut song carries the skeleton of the group as bright dance pop just as it was. Luv Virus, released in 2013 after the lineup changed, is the signature song of the reshuffled period and marks the shift toward a cute pop line. My Love that follows shows a face that had moved toward a softer tone. Lined up, the three songs join the changes inside a short working life.
From 2014 no new work followed, and group activity was closed off after a short span. What is thick, though, is what the members did next. Hana redebuted in SECRET NUMBER as Léa, and Tasha and Ferlyn have routes on the Singapore side. Being able to follow the record of the group itself and then widen out toward where each member went is the reason SKarf keeps being found later. Oh! Dance, then Luv Virus, then My Love covers the skeleton of the debut, the signature song after the reshuffle and the softer late period.
