KPOP DISCOVER's QWER note
What defines QWER is the sound a girl band makes when its four members come from different places. Born out of 3Y Corporation / Tamago Production, the four-piece girl band gathers backgrounds such as streaming and a past as an idol, and like the Q/W/E/R keys each member takes a different role in building the sound.
The doors are Discord, T.B.H and My Name Is Malguem. Discord holds the beginning as a band born from a project, T.B.H brings pop rock with an everyday feel, and My Name Is Malguem confirms a chart-level signature song and the strength of the singing. Set apart from dance groups, it feels natural to line up the official videos, Special Clips and live footage as a K-band.
Following through to Dear and Blue Whale in 2025 and CEREMONY in 2026 links a story of youth, encouragement and self-declaration. Discord, then T.B.H, then My Name Is Malguem covers the beginning, the everyday feel and the signature song.
Editors' take Discord / T.B.H / My Name Is Malguem — a K-band four-piece whose sound, made by four people from different places, runs through three songs.
Trivia worth knowing
Name
QWER points at a keyboard row and, just as much, at the skill keys in League of Legends.
Fandom
Bawige comes from the Rift Scuttler, so the fandom name, like the group name, opens from gaming culture.
Membership
Chodan on drums, Magenta on bass, Hina on guitar and keys, Siyeon on vocals and guitar: a four-piece easiest to memorise by instrument.
Video
Rather than Dance Practice, it is the music videos, Band Practice, Band LIVE and THE FIRST TAKE that show what QWER do best.
Turning point
T.B.H and My Name Is Malguem shifted the way in from the novelty of the project towards the strength of the songs.
Latest
By the time of CEREMONY the official music video, Band Practice, it's Live and music-show stages were all in place, thickening the video trail.

Japan activity score
KPOP DISCOVER original metric
No. 140/ 241 groups
No. 140 of 241 groups with recorded activity in Japan (top 58%)
- 2Japanese releases
- 5Japan-related tracks
- 0Members from Japan
- 0Official Japanese accounts
The denominator is the 241 groups, out of 564 covered by KPOP DISCOVER, whose raw score reaches at least one point. The score adds 10 points per Japanese-market release, 3 per Japan-related track, 12 per member from Japan, and 8 per official Japanese account. Japanese-market releases carry the most weight because they are the most direct evidence of activity; related tracks add track-level detail; members from Japan stand for Japanese-language communication and continuity; official accounts stand for a permanent point of contact. The weights are an editorial judgement, not a statistical optimisation, and the ranking tracks release volume in Japan closely.
