IS:SUE is a four-piece that debuted from LAPONE GIRLS after PRODUCE 101 JAPAN THE GIRLS. On June 19, 2024 they introduced themselves with CONNECT, included on the debut release 1st IS:SUE, then layered that impression with Welcome Strangers -2nd IS:SUE- in November of the same year. Through THE FLASH GIRL the tone of the footage and the sharpness of the dance were honed, and while working mainly in the Japanese market they drew their outline with a K-pop density of imagery.
CONNECT and THE FLASH GIRL are the easiest to hold on to, and both show the formations and the precision of the choreography of the four head on. SHINING, from EXTREME DIAMOND in May 2025, layers a strong beat with the speed of the expressions, and Super Luna in November of that year moved the performance outside the studio. As the singles pile up, the direction settles towards fitting strength and unity into the same frame.
PHASE in January 2026 leads to the 1st album QUARTET in May of the same year, which stands as a turning point. Holding Quartet, CONNECT, THE FLASH GIRL, SHINING, Phase and NO Game Over, that single record lets the changes since the debut be crossed in one pass.
