DIA came out of the same company as T-ARA and carried on that house style of bright, large-cast pop through several line-up changes.

DIA debuted in September 2015 with Do It Amazing and its track Somehow, a girl group out of MBK Entertainment. Inheriting the large-format pop lineage that followed T-ARA, it kept changing shape through additions and departures, and those seven years carry an unusual density even among third-generation girl groups. The name is short for Diamond, and the wish to hold brightness and hard shine together runs through the visuals of every release.
Three songs make the entry: Somehow, On the Road and WooWoo. The debut gives the early cool freshness, On the Road shows the scale of the lineup and its vivid formations, and WooWoo, released in 2018, moves into the bursting pop of the later period, which is the whole range in one listen. WOOWA stands out for its newtro sound and light choreography, and anyone tracking the musical change will find the pivot there.
The year 2016 overlapped with Chaeyeon's I.O.I activity, and awareness of DIA spread through it. Bright pop continued with newer members joining, and Flower 4 Seasons in 2020 shows the narrower shape of the later period. Then on September 14, 2022, exactly seven years after the debut, Rooting For You arrived as the final official release and closed the story. Somehow, then WooWoo, then Rooting For You runs from large-format debut pop through the later signature to the last chapter.
Editors' take Somehow / WooWoo / Rooting For You — three songs running from bright pop to the final chapter, from the six-piece group at MBK Entertainment.
