What anchors CLC is the change from a cool, clear start to a hard girl crush. CUBE Entertainment debuted the girl group with Pepe in 2015, starting with Seunghee, Yujin, Seungyeon, Sorn and Yeeun, and in 2016 Elkie and Eunbin joined to make a seven-piece. The international make-up, with Sorn from Thailand and Elkie from Hong Kong, is part of the character.
The ways in are Hobgoblin, Black Dress and No. Hobgoblin gives the hard turning point, Black Dress the unity of the performance, and No a polished self-assertion, which makes the later picture easy to hold.
