2EYES came out of SidusHQ, a company better known for actors, and debuted in 2013 with a harder concept than most of their year.

2EYES debuted from SidusHQ with Hyangsuk, Hyerin, Dasom, Daeun and Yeonjun. Sent out by an agency known for developing actors, they joined the SBS drama soundtrack A Winter Story before the debut proper, and formal activity began in June 2013 with Don't Mess With Me.
Don't Mess With Me is the clearest place to start. Dance pop with a low centre of gravity carries the first impression of the five. Shooting Star then flips to a bright pop line, and the temperature of the same group changes a great deal. Not narrowing the concept to one thing during a short run is, looking back, the more interesting choice.
Yeonjun left in 2015 and the remaining four swung hard towards a fairy-tale concept on PIPPI. In 2017 Hyangsuk and others took part in MIXNINE, and in 2018 the group information was removed from the SidusHQ site, ending the run. The members went on to acting, modelling, musicals and their own paths. Don't Mess With Me, then Shooting Star, then PIPPI runs from a strong first impression through bright pop to the fairy-tale turn.
