BESTie made a vivid debut in July 2013 with Pitapat, a four-piece girl group signed to YNB Entertainment. Hyeyeon, U.JI and Haeryung are still on record as early members of EXID, and with Dahye added the lineup reads as an answer to the question of what happens when familiar faces take a different road. From the debut to the end of 2015 they piled up releases that combined pop, dance pop and comic visual style with real singing.
Love Options or Excuse Me is the natural first pick. Love Options delivers comic expression and a burst of movement riding the chorus, while Excuse Me shows the depth of singing and the polish of the hook that BESTie had reached by 2015.
