Sunhye, Yeonjung, Jiana, Doeun and Jieun built a run of releases around food and street imagery, and the videos are as odd as the songs.
Start here for the least polite girl group of the fifth generation and the most fun to argue about.

KPOP DISCOVER's YOUNG POSSE note
Sunhye, Yeonjung, Jiana, Doeun and Jieun make up the five. DSP Media and BEATS Entertainment joined forces to debut the group in October 2023, and from the first EP MACARONI CHEESE they took a line of their own, leading with a food motif and the playfulness of hip hop. For a K-pop girl group the weight given to comedy and to rap is considerable, and while that can puzzle a first-time listener, it is exactly what makes them distinctive.
The songs that serve as entrances are MACARONI CHEESE, XXL and ATE THAT. XXL brings in quotations from old-school hip hop with some nerve, and ATE THAT widens the scale of the visuals further. Both the videos and the sound are built to be strange on purpose, and this is where they take a position slightly apart from girl crush and from idol pop alike. The fandom is called TELEPOSSE.
Cold in 2025 brought a collaboration with 10CM, and Growing Pain pt.1 : FREE added rap songs the members take part in, such as FREESTYLE and YSSR. Into 2026 come LOSE YOUR SHXT with BENZO, Visa / Pilot3 and the digicore-tinted we don't go to bed tonight, a run of collaborations abroad and new sounds. MACARONI CHEESE, then XXL, then we don't go to bed tonight runs through the playfulness of the debut, the old-school quotation and the latest change of sound.
Editors' take MACARONI CHEESE / XXL / we don't go to bed tonight — a five-piece from DSP Media / BEATS Entertainment cutting open the fifth generation with hip hop and play.
Trivia worth knowing
MACARONI CHEESE, XXL and ATE THAT work as a food-themed trio, and taking them together makes the quirks of the early YOUNG POSSE catalogue easier to hear.
Sunhye, Yeonjung, Jiana, Doeun and Jieun trade verses constantly, so the momentum of the whole team registers faster than any single song does.
From Growing Pain pt.1 : FREE onwards the members' songwriting credits become far more visible, which moves the act past a purely concept-led pitch.
Official music videos lean on comic CG and street texture, while the Dance Practice and Performance Video uploads show how hard the choreography actually hits.
LOSE YOUR SHXT, Visa and we don't go to bed tonight are the updates nobody following YOUNG POSSE in 2026 should skip.
Set against the DSP lineage shared with KARD, the R&B and hip-hop leanings of KISS OF LIFE, and the small-label critical path of H1-KEY, the group's own position comes into focus.
