KARD are two men and two women working in latin, dancehall and dance production, which almost nobody in Korean pop has sustained.

J.Seph, BM, Somin and Jiwoo drew an audience across the Americas before the official debut and have kept it since.
Pick this for a mixed line-up where the vocal trade-offs are the whole design rather than a novelty.

KARD is a co-ed group at DSP Media in which J.Seph, BM, Somin and Jiwoo — two men and two women — move as a single unit. Songs put out before the July 2017 debut had already spread widely abroad, reaching K-pop listeners across North and South America especially fast. True to a name that means 4 cards, the members are placed so that each covers for the others, and combining male and female voices and movement sits at the core.
For a first listen, Don't Recall, Hola Hola, Dumb Litty and ICKY make the route, 4 tracks in order. Don't Recall is the Latin-leaning groove that pulled in overseas fans in the pre-debut period, Hola Hola the bright pop line of the formal debut, Dumb Litty a track with more dancehall and street texture, and ICKY a recent signature work that rebuilds the male and female exchange from a grown-up angle. None of them can be called a girl group record or a boy group record, and the mixed lineup works as a necessity of the sound.
After military service the four came together on the 2022 album Re: and set out the bright dancehall line once more. Where To Now? (Part.1 : Yellow Light) in 2024 showed a light summer pop, and Touch, the title track of the 8th mini album DRIFT, updated where they stand in 2025. Holding on to the early co-ed groove across such a long run is the strength of KARD, and Don't Recall, then Dumb Litty, then ICKY gives the groove that won people abroad, the street texture and the grown-up exchange.
Editors' take Don't Recall / Dumb Litty / ICKY — Latin, dancehall and a grown-up groove across 3 songs, from a co-ed 4-piece at DSP Media.
