ONF debuted from WM Entertainment on August 2, 2017 as a six-piece. The name is short for ON and OFF, carving a two-sidedness of front and back, light and dark, straight into it. From the debut song ON/OFF through You Complete Me and We Must Love, a way of writing that layers stretching melody over slightly science-fiction storytelling settled as the natural voice of ONF.
