Two things anchor NMIXX: MIXX POP, where a single song changes genre mid-flight, and the live vocal strength that makes it hold. Debuting from SQU4D at JYP Entertainment with O.O in February 2022, the six-piece first landed as a group built on surprise, but the deeper you go, the more the groundwork in singing, rapping and dancing shows.
Put the playfulness of DICE, the easy R&B lean of Love Me Like This, the rush of DASH and the harder world from See that? onward together, and NMIXX takes on three dimensions. The experimental song structures never stop at being odd, because the singing of every member and their command of the stage make them work.
The full album Blue Valentine in 2025 showed the genre-crossing at full scale. O.O, then Love Me Like This, then DASH covers the origin of the concept, the strength of the voices and MIXX POP at its most polished.
