Most Valuable Player, shortened to MVP. PH Entertainment debuted the five-piece on March 13, 2017, a small-scale boy group sitting inside the third-generation frame, with VICTORY as the fandom name. Take It, carried on the debut album Manifest, put sharp rapping and hard dancing at the front and stated the direction of the group in its opening move.
As a way in, Take It is the clearest choice. The style keeps dance pop at the centre while holding the density of the performance high, and watching the Choreography Ver. straight after makes the formations and the build of the movement much sharper. Every Day, released in 2018, carries a softer mood than the debut song and works as a second window onto the vocal range of the same group.
I'm A Go from 2019 has the air of a restart and sits late in a short catalogue. There was a stretch when The Unit drew attention to individual members, and the flow back from there to the group's own releases still exists. Activity was confirmed as finished in 2022, so the whole picture is now assembled after the fact. Take It, then Every Day, then I'm A Go covers the tough opening, the vocal range and the restart.
