KPOP DISCOVER's Bob Girls note

What holds Bob Girls together is a visual concept built on the bob haircut. Chrome Entertainment sent the four-piece girl group out in 2014, after Crayon Pop, with every member appearing in a bob, so the name of the group explains the visual concept on its own.

The door is No Way. Activity was brief, centred on the debut showcase and the video release of June 2014, and then the history of the group closes abruptly with an end to activity that involved health reasons, so how deeply a single song is watched becomes the whole question.

The No Way video, music show stages, the dance and performance route, and the later work of each member, such as the route into LoveUs taken by Migyo and Danbi, all stand apart from one another. Set beside Crayon Pop and K-Much from the same years, the air of the early 2010s, when smaller agencies tried to stand out through concepts, becomes visible.

Editors' take No Way — a four-piece out of Chrome whose short run rested on the bob haircut visual concept, with a single song as the door to look at deeply.
