PRISTIN debuted from PLEDIS Entertainment in March 2017 as a ten-piece girl group. Nayoung and Kyulkyung had come through Produce 101 and worked in I.O.I, and after that group disbanded they spent a preparation period as PLEDIS Girlz before the official debut. The name is coined from Prismatic and Elastin, and the starting point was an introductory one that put the character of all 10 out front.
Three songs are worth holding on to as the way in: WEE WOO, WE LIKE and Get It. The debut song WEE WOO is bright, bouncing pop that takes in the presence of all 10 at once. WE LIKE follows with a noisy school concept and a strong sense of team. PRISTIN V is the five-member unit of Nayoung, Roa, Eunwoo, Rena and Kyulkyung, and Get It shows a more adult face than the full group.
