NCT WISH / 엔시티 위시
NCT WISH came through NCT Universe: LASTART and were introduced as the last unit in the project's expansion.

Last updated:
Korean and Japanese versions run in parallel throughout, and the presentation stays lighter than the older units'.
Pick this for the freshest end of a long-running project, with a Japanese route built in from the start.

A fresh new-generation image and a route running through Japan and Korea in parallel are the axis of NCT WISH. SM Entertainment debuted the six-piece with WISH on February 21, 2024, after NCT Universe: LASTART, and the unit arrived as the last one introduced under the expansion of NCT.
WISH holds the origin, Steady carries the signature feeling, and poppop and COLOR show the colour of 2025. Japanese and Korean versions run side by side, so the music videos are only one part of it; STUDIO CHOOM and Dance Practice show the same present from another angle.
With the Japanese 1st mini WISHLIST and the Korean 1st full Ode to Love, 2026 moved them past short bursts of activity and into a catalogue worth following properly. WISH, then Songbird, then Steady runs from the origin to the colour of the group.
Editors' take WISH / Songbird / Steady — a fresh new-generation image and parallel Japanese and Korean routes in three songs, from an SM six-piece.
No. 43 of 210 groups with recorded activity in Japan (top 20%)
The denominator is the 210 groups, out of 525 covered by KPOP DISCOVER, whose raw score reaches at least one point. The score adds 10 points per Japanese-market release, 3 per Japan-related track, 12 per member from Japan, and 8 per official Japanese account. Japanese-market releases carry the most weight because they are the most direct evidence of activity; related tracks add track-level detail; members from Japan stand for Japanese-language communication and continuity; official accounts stand for a permanent point of contact. The weights are an editorial judgement, not a statistical optimisation, and the ranking tracks release volume in Japan closely.
