EvoL was put together as a five-piece of Say, Jucy, Hayana, J-Da and Yull, and debuted from Stardom Entertainment in August 2012. Keeping a distance from the innocent line of the period, the group planted itself on rap and the power of the stage. The label colour around Block B seemed to be carried straight into a girl group, which made them a clearly odd option in the women's group market of the day.
The way in is the debut song We Are A Bit Different and Get Up, released in March 2013. The debut keeps its roughness and its impulse intact, so what EvoL was reaching for lands in one listen.
