What holds EPEX together is the youth concept of the Youth Chapter trilogy and where they stand after a change in the line-up. C9 Entertainment debuted the boy group on June 8, 2021 with Lock Down, starting as eight, but Keum left in 2025, and the current seven are Wish, MU, A-Min, Baekseung, Ayden, Yewang and Jeff.
Lock Down, Do 4 Me and Youth2Youth are the way in. The debut song gives the first impression, the signature song shows the appeal that reached beyond the fandom, and a recent song shows the current sound and how the stage is built, which makes for a natural run.
Separating the roles of voice, dance, visual and live presence brings out a depth in the team that the songs alone do not show. Lock Down, then Do 4 Me, then Youth2Youth carries the first impression, the signature song and the present.
