Buzz are a Korean rock band fronted by Min Kyung-hoon, and several of their songs are still fixtures in the country's karaoke rooms.

The first album leans lyrical rock ballad, Effect holds the best-known songs, and Perfect carried the biggest hit of the run.
Come here for 2000s Korean rock rather than for idol pop; the overlap in audience is larger than it looks.

Buzz is a Korean rock band that debuted in October 2003, putting down roots in the Korean music of the 2000s with lyrical rock ballads built around the voice of Min Kyung-hoon. Monologue, from the 1st album Morning of Buzz, established their presence, and on the 2nd album Effect in 2005 Coward and Thorn spread far enough to become pillars of the karaoke standard repertoire. Carrying a band line-up rather than an idol format while cutting that deep into public memory leaves them in a position of their own within the K-pop scene.
The easiest way in is the four songs Thorn, Coward, Don't Know Men and My Love. Working through the lyrical rock ballads of the 1st album, the tense rock sound of the 2nd and the broader reach of the 3rd album Perfect in 2006 makes it clear why Buzz is still sung in karaoke rooms. The voice of Min Kyung-hoon holds the delicacy of a ballad and the force of rock at once, showing a different face on each song.
From around 2007 military service among the members changed how the group worked, but a reunion in 2014 brought new releases, and in 2017 The Love served as a fresh entry point. The Lost Time in 2018, Analogue in 2021 and Dreaming in 2024 followed, stacking up a catalogue that does not stop at old memories. Thorn, then The Love, then Dreaming runs from the peak-era rock ballads through the restart to the newest phase.
Editors' take Thorn / The Love / Dreaming — three songs run from the peak years through the reunion to the latest release, for a five-piece rock band signed to A1 People / Longplay Music.
