5th generation · Great M Entertainment
エイティーツーメジャー / 에이티투메이저
82MAJOR takes its name from the country calling code for Korea, and the members have a hand in making the music they perform.

Last updated:
Sure Thing and First Class showed a clean side alongside the hip-hop one, and Choke, Stuck, TAKEOVER, TROPHY and Sign each thicken the beats and the visuals.
Choose this if you want a recent boy group where the rap is central rather than decorative.

82MAJOR turns on a hip-hop colour and on taking part in the making of the music. The 6-piece debuted in 2023 as the first boys group at Great M Entertainment, showing a fresh side and a hip-hop side on Sure Thing and First Class, and the further it runs through Choke, Stuck, TAKEOVER, TROPHY and Sign, the harder the beats and the denser the visuals become.
Start from Sure Thing, First Class, Choke, TAKEOVER, TROPHY and Sign. FEELM on April 28, 2026 brought Sign out as the title track, so the music video and the Performance Video for Sign belong in the same run.
The official videos are spread across the 82MAJOR YouTube channel, 1theK Originals and the music show clips. Going past the music videos to the Choke Dance Practice, the TAKEOVER Performance and the Sign Performance and Suit Dance is where the present strength stands up. Taken as Sure Thing, then Choke, then TAKEOVER, the path covers the two sides, the hard beats and the density of the visuals.
Editors' take Sure Thing / Choke / TAKEOVER — 3 songs carry a fifth-generation run built on hip-hop colour and hands-on production, from a Great M 6-piece.
No. 173 of 210 groups with recorded activity in Japan (top 82%)
The denominator is the 210 groups, out of 525 covered by KPOP DISCOVER, whose raw score reaches at least one point. The score adds 10 points per Japanese-market release, 3 per Japan-related track, 12 per member from Japan, and 8 per official Japanese account. Japanese-market releases carry the most weight because they are the most direct evidence of activity; related tracks add track-level detail; members from Japan stand for Japanese-language communication and continuity; official accounts stand for a permanent point of contact. The weights are an editorial judgement, not a statistical optimisation, and the ranking tracks release volume in Japan closely.
