The SeeYa arrived in November 2012 as a four-piece vocal group, assembled by Core Contents Media / MBK Entertainment as a new lineup inheriting an established name. Minkyung, Youngjoo, Yoojin and Yeonkyung worked in ballads and R&B, using drama-shaped music videos to move emotion. The career lasted only until the end of 2015, yet the singles from it still show how strong those voices were.
Three songs make the easiest entry: Be With You, Poison and Tell Me. The drama-style video for Be With You shows a clear intent to carry a story through images and voice, not merely to sing well. Poison, from LOVE U, is a vocal-forward track where four different timbres separate out. Tell Me sits on the 2014 single Love Is, recorded once the group had settled into a calmer way of delivering feeling.
In 2013 the joint track Painkiller with T-ARA, F-ve Dolls and SPEED placed The SeeYa inside a vertical lineage running across the label's groups. Solo singles kept coming after that — Tear Up, Crazy Love, U & ME, White Snow — until activity ended with White Snow late in 2015. Be With You, then Tell Me, then White Snow moves from the drama-style video through the calmer later voice to the final single.
