KPOP Meaning
At the end of a weekly music show, the winning act usually returns to perform the winning song as an encore. The standard Korean dictionary defines "encore" as calling for a repeat performance to praise a performer. The official YouTube channels of M COUNTDOWN, Music Bank, Inkigayo and SHOW CHAMPION all post videos titled as winners' encores, and in each case we checked, the song matched that episode's official No. 1. No show rule we found requires it, so the format may vary.
Usage
Used for the post-win performance: "the winner's encore fancam." Give the show and date.
